RESULTS REVEALED
Last event in Healthy Woman series on weight loss will feature tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and will reveal the weight loss results for three local women
Since February, members of the Sunbury Community Hospital Healthy Woman program, and women in the community have participated in a series of monthly programs aimed at helping them to live a healthier lifestyle. The last program in the series will be Monday, June 29, at 6pm at the Packer House, Third Street, Sunbury. This program is free and is open to all women in the community.
The evening will include a presentation from Dr. John Pagana on “How to maintain a healthy lifestyle,” and a feature on each of the three ‘Lose to Win’ participants.
“Through this series, women in the community have learned about starting an exercise program, nutrition, exercise, and stress. The final program from Dr. Pagana will provide women with tips on additional ways they can maintain a healthy lifestyle—scheduling an annual mammogram, for example,” says Emily Kissinger, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Sunbury Community Hospital.
Since February, three Healthy Woman members, Kelli Tyler, Lenora Springfield, and Lori Seebold, have been featured at each of the monthly programs and have been working with personal training staff at Pulse Fitness for Women, Champs Gym & Fitness, and the Sunbury YMCA. On the 29th, their weight loss totals will be revealed-- all are invited to join in the celebration of their successes and hear their stories.
“These three ladies have had tremendous success. The results they have achieved by working with the teams at Champs, Pulse, and the YMCA have been an inspiration to many,” says Kissinger.
