BEHAVIORAL HEALTH NURSE MANAGER AT SUNBURY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
John Wertman, of Montgomery, was named to the position of nurse manager of the behavioral health unit at Sunbury Community Hospital.
Mr. Wertman earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Bloomsburg University. In addition to working in the behavioral health field, Mr. Wertman’s nursing background includes experience in emergency nursing, intensive care, telemetry, and a cardiac catheterization lab. He’s also served in the United States Army as an Administrative Specialist.
The Behavioral Health Unit at Sunbury Community Hospital & Outpatient Center offers intensive personalized treatment to individuals 18 to 65 years of age. The programs of the unit specialize in the treatment of individuals with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depressive and anxiety disorders, and other psychotic disorders.
