A cheery visit on a quiet afternoon, a supportive hand that reassures or a handcrafted ornament on a food tray are only a few of the many ways community volunteers "bring personal care to life" at Sunbury Community Hospital & Outpatient Center.
Volunteers have important roles at your community hospital. Donating time, energy, talent and support, volunteers contribute greatly to the well-being of our patients and families, whether serving as a volunteer in the snack bar, the OR or as a trustee. Volunteer opportunities are available in nearly every department of the hospital. Our Volunteer Coordinator will help find a place that is right for you.
The dedication of these special people transcends generations and has served as the foundation for much of the hospital's success during its 115-year history. Whether serving as a trustee, a greeter at the information desk or in another role, volunteers make contributions of time and talent that are greatly appreciated.
